So you may or may not have noticed that I did a bit of spring cleaning with my gallery. I got rid of some of my crappier photo manips and some old pics I took. You also may or may not have noticed that I finally posted some new stuff. Yeah, finally.

I recently got back from a school trip to Washington, D.C. It was totally awesome, but I only took my old Canon PowerShot with me, because I was too lazy to lug my Rebel around the city and I was worried that I'd leave it at the hotel or something.

I'm totally regretting not taking it.

I couldn't get any good night shots (and we saw most of the memorials at night) and out of the 400 pics I took, only two were somewhat good enough to put on dA. Though in a couple weeks I'll probably just add them to scraps. I did get some pretty neat shots of me at Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, but they're just snapshots so I won't post them on dA

Ah well, life is too short for regrets. Live and learn. Now I know to take my Rebel with me whenever I go travelling, even if it is a bugger to carry around.

But on a higher note, it's finally spring in the Canadian countryside which means green grass and flowers and sunny days. And lately the sunsets have been absolutely gorgeous. The only downside is that all the bugs are beginning to come out. How I loathe bugs...
